Independent Repair of Ophthalmic Instruments
The Machinery Works is an independent repair service and supplier for ophthalmic instruments, tools and equipment. Since 1985, Opticians and eye doctors have called on us to get their equipment repaired, calibrated or refurbished.
We are old school, believing it is practical and cost effective to repair eye examination equipment which is unchanged compared to new instruments. We work on American Optical, Reliance, Haig-Streit, and other machines. Call us when your equipment supplier recommends replacing a tool that needs attention and the new equipment is basically unchanged from the old. We can often fix it, calibrate it or if need be recommend a cost effective replacement. We provide refurbished used equipment.
